IN FAITH, HE....Devotional
Easter Sunday Heavenly Ascent
Who Am I In Christ?
God bless your Easter Sunday celebration of our Lord and Savior! May it be filled with all the joy and reverence for which it is intended.
"Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen!" Mark 16:6
We give a lot of thought about the crucifixion of our Lord. This is good! We need to remember what He did for us and the magnitude of the love that took Him there. However, let us not leave Him on the cross. We should shout praises to God the Father for the resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ. HE LIVES! Because of Him, we have His resurrection power. If we are "In Christ" we are God's children and heirs to His thrown.
But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life. Titus 3:4-7
The New Testament letters (The Epistles) give enlightenment and testimony for who we are, if we are saved! To be "In Christ," our spirit must be born again into a new life with God through His Son, Jesus. Do you know Him? Is He the Lord of Your life? If not, would you like to? Visit my adult statement of faith page for instructions for a life that is in Him!
These are a few of the benefits of the believer revealed to us in God's Word:
Replace the "I" with "your name."
