Path Seeker Verse

"...Satan himself pretends to be an angel of light."

2Corinthians 11:14

Path Finder Lesson

Light of Deceit

God tells us about Satan's attempts to fool us by pretending bad things won't hurt us. Bad drugs, TV shows, music, movies and even our feelings can be used by Satan to harm us. He shines a light of deceit. To "deceive" means "to fool." We can guard our hearts from him by giving our heart to Jesus. We can pray for God to protect us. God can keep our hearts pure and clean. Trusting God, listening to the Holy Spirit and saying "NO" to bad things will help us be like Jesus!

Path Connection Prayer

Protect me Lord.

Keep me from harm. I do not want Satan to be able to fool me. Help me to know what is true. I want to live in the light of truth that Jesus brings.

In His Name,

Amen
