Peace by Example

 

As we study God's Word, He has used many people as examples to show us how He works. The Apostle Paul, who was writing to the church at Philipi, was one of those examples. He tells us how to have the perfect peace only God can give. We are to obey God's Word and do as Paul did. When he needed to have God's perfect peace, he thought about his blessings. He thought about good things, true things and beautiful things. He prepared his mind for peaceful thoughts.

 

Path Connection Prayer

Father God,

When I find myself getting upset and not prepared to receive Your perfect peace, help me to think about my blessings. I want to fill my mind with good, true and beautiful thoughts of Your loving kindness.
