Obey and Please

We don't always have to agree with our parents about what is best. We do need to obey them and not argue. When we do, we are pleasing the Lord. God has spent a lot of time teaching them about right and wrong. We should learn from them. If we think they are wrong, we should pray and ask God to show us and them what is right. Studying God's Word can help us to know and do what pleases the Lord.

 

Path Connection Prayer

Father God,

Help me to choose to obey my parents. I want to learn to do what is right. I want to please You, Lord.
