I often find it difficult to believe the way in which the Word of God is handled in some circles. This could be the reason I go in search of so many scriptures when presenting what I think God is trying to tell us. I urge you to always pray for God's revelation, enlightenment and discernment as you seek answers from His Word.

"Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth." 2 Timothy 2:15
Going forward to teach God's Word with one verse or mind set, without seeking the full intent of His message can be a dangerous undertaking. It could just set others on a journey of confusion. When God says not to change His Word, He is also speaking to us about the meaning of what He says within it's pages. We must not skirt around His message by picking and choosing what we want to believe, what we choose to agree with, or what fits the circumstances of our life. If we intend to live and teach the Word of God, we must learn to check all we know or think against His instruction book.
"And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work." 1 Corinthians 9:8
When we become Christian church leaders, bible school teachers, or attempt to lead others in God's Word, we need to be sure we are teaching His truth with the utmost of care. There was a time when I would tell others what I thought to be true about God, without really knowing that the basis for my belief was misguided. As I began to study the Word more and more, IN FAITH, HE.... revealed areas where I had been incorrect with my thinking. Our God will supply what we need to lead others to the answers He has for them, as we teach these wonderful Words of Life.
But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who ask you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander. 1 Peter 3:16
We sometimes become so excited and anxious to share Jesus we fail to prepare ourselves with God's truths beforehand. Sharing the good news about Jesus should be the easy part of our Christian witness. Preparing ourselves with the answers of why we believe God's Word to be absolute and God breathed, is a bit more demanding; And perhaps most difficult of all, preparing our reactions to those whom are not yet ready to hear it. Our reactions and responses, as well as our prep era ti on can sometimes be as important as the message we wish to convey.
"...The words I say to you are not just my own. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work...Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me..." John 14:10b,11a
When Jesus walked on the earth He was fully human and fully God! He lived in total obedience to God the Father as He fully relied upon God's Holy Spirit. His life on earth served as an example of how we are to live. He did the work of His Father and revealed the awesome unconditional love, unrestrained power, unlimited grace, and unrestricted presence of our Holy God. He lived to serve mankind, bring forgiveness and give eternal life in heaven to all those whom would believe Him.
The one who calls you is faithful and he will do it. 1 Thessalonians 5:24
A prayer to share:
Thank You Lord Jesus, for considering me as a workman in the sharing of Your Word as I seek to guide others into Your loving ways. Grant me discernment and knowledge and especially a heart to give positive reinforcement and encouragement to those whom You place in my path.
