Greet new members and introduce them to
the class and the Critters.
Open the class with a prayer.
- Read the Bible Verse for the day!
The Bible Says:
"...the Angel said to them ...I bring
you good news of great joy. It is for all the people. Today in
the town of David a Savior has been born to you. He is Christ
the Lord." Luke 2:10,11
-
- Objective:
- Sharing the birth of the Baby Jesus. Remind
the children that Jesus is the reason for the season.
-
- (Speak with the children)
- In John 1:1, says, "In the beginning,
the Word was already there. The Word was with God, and the Word
was God. He was with God in the beginning."
This verse of the Bible is talking about Jesus!
Jesus was God, who was in heaven and who loved us so much that
He came to show us His Love. He came to save us from the sin
that had been brought into the world by Satan, because Adam and
Eve did not obey God in the Garden of Eden.
- (Teach the children)
- God came to us as a baby lying in a manger.
The Angel of the Lord told the wise men and the shepherds that
the Bright Star would lead them to the baby. If they followed
the Star they would find The Light of the world. Baby Jesus was
born to bring God's people out of darkness into His wonderful
Light.
-
- (Let the Critters help teach the lesson)
Star Light, Star Bright
Emmi Squirrel is an angel watching
over the Baby Jesus when all of Heavens Angels sang,
- "May glory be given to God in the highest
heaven! And may peace be given to those He is pleased with on
earth!" Luke 2:14.
Cami Cub and Joshua Jackrabbit are on their
best behavior on this very special night. Liam Leapfrog is very
quiet. He is playing the part of the Baby Jesus.
What fun the Animation Trail Critters are
having in the Kid Cave Forest. They are putting on a play to
tell all the Forest Creatures about what God has done for His
people. They want God to be pleased and give His peace to their
friends too!
(closing)
Repeat today's Bible verse. Talk with
the children about what Christmas means to them.
Worship God with music.

weeks' teachings. I made Christmas with the Critters books for
the kids.
Pass out the coloring pages.
Explain the daily devotions! Encourage the Kids to show these to their parents
and get help as they continue to learn how God takes care of
them through the week.
