The Bible Says:

"And pray in the Spirit on all occasions
with all kinds of prayers and requests..."

Ephesians 6:18a

Stand Firm with the Oak!part 1

God wants you to pray at all times. Pray for Him to help you, to bless you, and especially pray for the good of others. In your prayers you will feel His closeness. Thank Him for loving you and wanting you to stay near to Him. He is with you in all of lifes challenges. He will not leave you alone in your times of troubles. The Bible says we will all have hard times. You can pray for God to protect you from the evil one's plans to harm you.

God has given us His Holy Spirit to live inside of us and give power to our prayers. We can believe God will do what He says He will do. We must pray to ask God to forgive us and help us to be more like Jesus. We can pray at meal times and ask for God's blessings. He hears us when we tell Him about our needs and ask Him to comfort and care for us. He wants us to pray with grateful hearts, giving thanks to Him for who He is and what He has done for us! God will teach us how to listen for the answers to our prayers when we read His Word. He is always waiting for us to come and talk to Him. He is always listening and He cares about what we have to say.

Joshua Jack Rabbit and Liam Leapfrog are ready for battle. They are doing what is most important to help them win any battle in life. They are praying for God to help them. They need help and they want to see what God will do in their circumstance! Joshua has forgotten part of his armor. Come back next week to find out what it is.

Sometimes we face battles. Maybe we are sick and our battle is to get well. Sometimes we are under temptation to sin and we need help from God to stay obedient to Him. Our first step to win any battle is to pray. We need to remember our help comes from the Lord.
