The Bible
Says:
-
- "And
now these three remain: faith, hope and love.
- But the gretest
of these is love."

Fruits
of the Spirit
Love -
Walking on God's
Path!
Why do you love someone?
Do you love them because they are popular? Because they are pretty?
Maybe you love someone because their skin is the same color as
yours? Do you love others because they like you, and do everything
the way you want them to? Maybe they share your views. God's
love is very different and His love does not play favorites or
look for self gratification.
There are different
kinds of love. All are good when you use them the way God tells
you to. However, God's love is special. God loves people without
conditions. He loves us dirty, clean, special, not so special,
little, big, good or bad! He does not love the bad things people
do. He hates sin because He knows it will hurt us! God wants
us to love other people the way He does. He wants us to care
for people who are sick, hurting, and even those who do not know
Him the way we do. He wants us to show His love to others, just
the way Jesus would. When we pray for others to be blessed by
God, we show Him we love them with His love.
Gramma Cherbear and
her Critters say, "We love you. We want you to know God
in a real personal way. We ask God to bless you with His saving
grace. We pray that the eyes and ears to your heart can hear
God and see His ways. We always pray for you to receive the gift
of His Son, Jesus, who died on a cross so you can live with God
eternity."
Do we know how important
you are? What you look like? How you act or the things you do
and don't do? Of course not! That is the love God wants you to
learn. We love you so much that telling you about God and His
great love is very important to us. Praying that you are well
and safe in this world brings blessings to us! We love you just
because YOU are important to God, and He loves YOU! We want you
to walk on God's path of faith, hope and love! We want you to
live with all the Fruits of His Spirit. Love, Joy, Peace, Patience,
Goodness and Kindness, Gentleness and Mercy, Faithfulness and
Self Control.
Read about all of
these in the Book of Galatians, chapter 5, verses 16-26.

Gramma Cherbear has
been teaching you a lot of things God has to say in the New Testament
of the Bible. Now we are going to go to the Old Testament and
learn about the Ten Commandments. Don't miss any of these.
