Needs Indeed

 

 

 

We all have needs. This world teaches us a lot about making sure we get our needs met. We need to be successful, wealthy, independent, tolerated and don't forget popular! Or do we? God's Word puts a much better perspective on our "needs." God says we need Jesus! Our needs are met through Him. God owns everything and holds our future in His care, when we allow Him to! He has a life plan for each of His children, and His plans are always better than anything we could think up on our own. We do have needs, indeed. However, we should let God show us what they really are.

 

"I have no need of a bull from your stall or of goats from your pens, for every animal of the forest is mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills. I know every bird in the mountains, and the creatures of the field are mine. If I were hungry I would not tell you, for the world is mine, and all that is in it."

Psalm 50:9-12

"... my God will meet all your needs according to

his glorious riches in Christ Jesus."
