Seek His Kingdom

 

 

 

God tells us not to worry. We "need" to rely fully on God and seek his kingdom above everything else. He will take care of dishing out what we need to eat, drink and wear. God cared about us so much that He sent His only Son to die on the cross and take the punishment for our sins. He knew our first need was for salvation! He gave us that freely. He wants us to know that when we desire Him and seek to be like Jesus, we will not put our own needs ahead of God's kingdom. When we give our needs to Him, obey Him, and seek to do His will, we are trusting Him. He is worthy of that trust!

 

Colossians 1:16 For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. (Jesus)

"And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink;

do not worry about it. For the pegan world runs after all such things,

and your Father knows that you need them.

But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well."
