Christ in Christmas

 

Without Christ, there is no Christmas. The world that does not know Him tries to think otherwise, but any celebration of Christmas without a celebration of Christ is without substance.

The "Gift" above all gifts was and is still Jesus. He is the reason we celebrate with a gift giving tradition. Take away the "Gift" and you take away the joy, peace and good will to men. That good will was extended to mankind because God allowed Himself to be born into a sinful world to live among us so we could see Him clearly and come to love Him, worship Him and eventually live with Him in heaven for eternity. The birth of the baby Jesus was the beginning of the fulfillment of the promised redemptive plan of salvation. The "Gift" is a free one but we must accept it in faith.

 

Have you? If not! Do you know where you will spend eternity? There are only two possibilities. Heaven or Hell! Go have that talk with God now and secure your place in the Book of Life!
